According to certain sources in Japan, it is indicated that the company is going to introduce the U24E series into the market place. Currently, the things are still kept quite close to chests and there is not even a mention of it at Asus sites yet.
The new U24E is going to have a 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5-2430M processor by Sandy Bridge Intel technology, a decent hard drive of 750 GB and a neat little 11.6 inch LCD display with a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolution, an integrated web camera allowing for face to face meetings, as well as reasonable graphics that is supported by Intel HM65 Express Chipset.
The laptop will also enjoy some other features, which include a battery capable of delivering more than 7 hours of use, a DVD Super Multi Drive, a multi card reader, HDMI port and 2 x superfast USB 3.0 ports, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 + HS connections. It is expected to be running on Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (SP1) system.
