Future Saving Power with Energy Lock

If you took your average kitchen timer with a dial and combines it with a power strip, the power lock, is what you end up with. The device is an electrical outlet with three connectors that your TV, computer, or anything else in the plug.

The plug rotates, so you decide how long the device is plugged in power to get. Once the timer is running on the device is turned off automatically. You can also give the thing a full rotation and constant performance.

The idea is pretty cool, but the problem I see is that most of the sockets behind in my home stuff. I would not be able to turn the thing to get the timer. I think it would be interesting tech for a surge, however.
